In the early 1990’s, two members of the Cherry Grove Golf Development Company, Dick Elliott and Roy Davis, had a vision to develop a small tract of land as part of the larger Eagle Nest Golf Club in Little River. The property now known as Lakeside at Eagle Nest was perfectly suited with an island in the middle of a five-acre lake.
The community integrates the natural surroundings with underground utilities and includes a clubhouse, swimming pool and fishing lake. Single-family lots surround the lake as well as on several adjacent streets. It was crucial for the developers that all owners have access for walking, fishing and enjoyment of the lake so there are several easements to the lake with an easement around the entire lake.
Lakeside at Eagle Nest continues to grow and remains a sought-after community with the unique blend of golf, nature and charm of smaller town living.
